BRANDED IN TYPE Artist Colab

BBPinc is excited to release its very first LIMITED PRINT artist collaboration drop.

In this colab we worked with the one and only BRANDED IN TYPE. 

But who is BRANDED IN TYPE a.k.a. AREK?

Erik Martin(AREK) from San Diego, by way of Phoenix is the artist/designer behind it all. Now 41 years old… There is not much Erik has not worked on, and literally no space he has not contributed on, or lead teams on completion of projects from small business, to large scale operations.

Erik was there when Adobe Photoshop 1 was released in 1990. At just 8 years old he was Learning its functions creating “art” for the fun of it. This lead to creating business cards and logos for anyone he could get to let him by the time he was 12 years old. So as Adobe kept releasing newer and newer versions of their software… Erik was there. Learning all the new capabilities in real time. Then Adobe Illustrator came out for personal use, Erik began his journey into creating vector format artwork for universal print applications such as large scale printing, vehicle wraps, billboards, embroidery and so on.

With nearly a complete life span of learning design and typography… Erik has worked for some of the worlds largest companies, as well as thousands of small business, bands, independent artists, Clothing/Apparel lines and more!

Along the way, Erik also took it upon himself to work inside many print houses to learn the insides and out of all forms of printing. Digital Printing, Ink Press printing, Screen Printing, Large scale format printing, Embroidery, Bindery etc. This allows Erik to know exactly what is needed for PRINT READY designs no matter what the use or application. When print shops get Eriks master files for production, They are setup for success.
